This is the single MOST important factor that decides if the bum marketing method is a success or failure for you!
And it is …..UNIQUE QUALITY CONTENT…If you guessed it correctly, you are smart but sorry, there is no prize for you.
While you heard about “unique content” a thousand times, many people only focus on making it “unique” but fail to realize the “quality” part.
Rehashing poorly written PLR articles, or rewriting articles that you copied from EzineArticles, Article City and so on is not going to give you unique quality content. Garbage begets garbage.

Sometimes, sitting down and consolidating useful information from different sources like the internet, newspapers, books, and so on as material for your article writing can be a worthwhile investment.

The next most important ingredient to make your bum marketing article work wonders for you is the keyword competitiveness.
For the best effect and potential to rank Top 3 in Google,
Go for a keyphrase that has low to moderate searches (at least 300 – 1000 according to WordTracker) and less than 200,000 in the search results (the lower the better).
Note: If the search count is too low, you may rank No.1 but still get peanuts for traffic.

Another key ingredient is the keyword density. I said this before. Get a keyword density of around 1.5% and if you follow Secret 1 also, your EzineArticles article or Squidoo will stand a solid chance to be the Champion, First Runner-up or Second Runner-up for your keyword in Google.

This is similar to Secret 2. Many people think that the more articles they submit, the more traffic they get. This is a half truth.
If you have a choice, go for quality in your articles rather than quantity. But if you can find both, great!
Over time, you will realize that only articles of excellent content and information will reign in the top Google search results.
I have experimented with hundreds of articles and lens over the past 1 year. Normally, I will write and submit a number of articles targeting the same keyword as a test. These are done using different methods like researching and writing my article, copying and rewriting articles taken from article directories and PLR membership sites and paying others to write.
At the end of the day, only Quality Content has the staying power! Some of my articles continue to reign in top spots without any shake up for an entire year!

Did you know that your EzineArticles article or Squidoo lens is a web page?
So if it is a web page, it follows the basic principles of SEO. Good SEO practice tells you that you need good backlinking to your site.
Many people fail to realize that backlinking can be done not only to their websites but to their EzineArticles articles, Squidoo Lens and HubPages as well!
So go ahead and post your link in forums, blog comments, social bookmarking sites and wherever you can do so without spamming around!

i am agree with above comment, to limit your keyword density 1.5 is not a best practice for higher competitive keywords.
we can limit it up to 3-6 % depending upon the keyword competition.

Actually, the density can be as high as 10% and the site can rank really well.
It is all about the quality backlinks you can provide and web 2.0 properties pointing at your site.
